“Saya tengok dia nampak lemah, jadi saya suapkan. Sempat habis tiga biji, saya berikan air zam-zam yang saya ambil di Masjid tadi. Alhamdulillah lepas itu dia baring semula sambung berehat. Tengah malamnya saya terjaga sebab nak tengok kalau-kalau makcik muntah lagi. Nampaknya dia rehat saja. Saya ke bilik air, bila saya selesai makcik dah terjaga. Dia tanya saya, abang sejuk ke? Kalau sejuk matikan air-cond bukakan tingkap. Saya matikan air-cond dan bukakan tingkap sebab saya kira mungkin dia yang tak tahan air-cond”, sambung Haji Seman.

“Awak nak minum air?” Berborak suami isterilah kan…” terserlah senyum Haji Seman sambil bercerita.

“Dia tak muntah lagi lepas tu?” tanyaku menyelangi cerita Haji Seman. “Alhamdulillah memang tak muntah lepas makan kurma Ajwa sama air Zam-zam” jawab Haji Seman melayan soalan aku. “Kami terus berbual hingga jam 2:30pagi. Lepas tu saya bagitau makcik yang saya bercadang nak qiyamullail sambil nak mendoakan agar dia terus sembuh sebelum saya ke bilik air semula. Saya letakkan semula kepala makcik atas bantal. Saya tengok dia macam biasa je… sempat dia senyum sebelum saya masuk bilik air”.

“Hampir jam tiga pagi saya tengok makcik macam tidur tapi saya tak nampak macam dia bernafas. Saya panggil dia tapi dia diam tak jawab.

Terkesima aku mendengarnya.

– Riwayat Tirmizi & Ibnu Majah.

This word had many obstacle to all of us as a student. Everyday we must aware that there have examination that we must always get a good mark. Is that the purpose of study?? To get A?? Here i would like to share some article that i have read from the internet.

In Malaysia, examination is the way to assess student's performances. In fact, there isn't any other form of assessment apart from examination. In reality, the purpose of examination is for a summative evaluation. These evaluations are to see if the students understand and could apply the concepts that they have learned throughout the semester. With the examination being the only form of assessment, therefore, it is crucial that the examination must be able to reflect on student's knowledge and performances. Because, being the nature of examination itself, the assessment is very traditional where student who score A would means that the student has gained knowledge on the particular subjects and vice versa. BUT, does that really mean so? How reliable are these examination in reflecting so?

Let us look at these students:

The "it's-about-getting-more-A" students
- For these students, getting A is their goals. They consider themselves as being academic successful as long as they could score all As for their examinations. Honestly, with the current education system, it does not take a genies to score A. The thing that I want to talk about is, are they getting their priority right? The priorities of these students are supposed to go to school to learn, not emphasis on scoring for their examinations. However, because the nature of assessment in Malaysia focuses on examination, student's priority can get side track and along the way, the process of learning is not viewed as learning but as a process of scoring. This process of scoring really isn't an honest evaluation on their performance... as we go on to the next point.

The "I-have-good-memory" students
These students usually do not have a problem when it comes to examination. All they need to do is to memorize every single fact that they read and ta-da... they did it. Now, this is very common in Malaysia. They might do it for all subjects or for a particular subject. Any students with good memory can score high marks. The thing is, how reliable are these results in reflecting the students' understanding? Take my friend, LZ who was doing pharmacy in one of the local university for an example. LZ has no problem scoring for her examinations but when she comes out and works, she finds it hard to cope because she never understands the concept as well as unsure in applying it. See the discrepancy?

The basic needs of students
The Humanistic philosophies believe that; in order for students to perform well, all basic needs must be provided. This would means looking at student's background as well as teacher's pedagogies. I do not want to go deep into this but I want to pinpoint that, different students with different background will have different expectation in education which will affect their learning abilities. Imagine a student coming from a background where they basic needs are not met, do you think they will perform at their best? For example, student A is from an alcoholic family, however, student A decided that he wants best for himself and study hard for the examination BUT on the night before the examination, his father came home drunk and start abusing him - do you think he will perform well the next day? Let me assure you, he will not. The example may seem a bit exaggerating but we know that Malaysian students comes from different backgrounds with diverse cultures, it would be surprise to hear that not each student's needs is meet.

When we are talking about basic needs, we are also looking at the nature of the examination itself. Some students work best without pressure. This is true. With the time limit given to them, how well do they perform compare to what they would normally have? In this context, the examination failed in providing a reliable reflection on student's best performance.

The spoon feeding students
We usually referred these groups of students as cheaters. Examination being an assessment that is so heavily relied on, in order to perform well, some students will choose to cheat - an easy way out. I don't think I need to elaborate on this - we all know about it.

With the above, clearly examination being the only assessment itself is not a good way of evaluating students. Of course, I could not deny the fact that there are students who do well deserve the merit that they've got but there are many who are out there do not deserve it. The thing is, I felt that assessment itself should be a continuous process, and not just through one process - the examination

So.... is examination nowadays is just to test the student memory?? what have happen to all the engineer that come from university? There are not all good in what they work. This happen just because they only study for the exam and not ready to use the knowledge that they have. This is what make our country does not have good doctor and engineer. Even though to build KLCC we have to hired engineer from other country... Is this what we want? Is this keep going, i do not think that our country can produce the greatest engineer and doctor ever. Try to think about it......

www.aridanamqarun.mineonly
besuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17283636148488642845noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7520434405510058645.post-18687361950022359562009-03-23T01:04:00.001-07:002009-03-23T01:19:11.238-07:00_A Complete Review of Nokia N96_

What do you think about diet??
It is good for us?
here I want to share with all of you some fact about diet that i get from the internet. Try to read it........

You've started a new diet. You've been good all week, making sensible meals, managing your portions, even exercising a little...then the weekend hits. You eat too much. You drink too much. You give up.

Not so fast! A couple of slip ups won't undo all your hard work. The key is to know the dieting pitfalls you're likely to make and plan ahead to avoid them.

Here are the top seven dieting mistakes. How many are you making?

Skipping breakfast.Research shows that people who don't eat breakfast actually weigh more than those who do. There's a mistaken belief that if you skip breakfast, you're saving calories. Problem is you end up snacking and eating more at other meals because you're body is so starved for food. Always begin your day with a healthy breakfast. Black coffee, an egg, whole wheat toast and a half grapefruit has only 250 calories and will stave off hunger pangs till lunch.

Too many liquid calories. Did you know that a regular soda can pack on 15 pounds in one year? Not to mention lattes, fruit smoothies and alcohol. These liquid calories do little to satisfy any hunger and the calories add up fast.

Not exercising. If 30 minutes is too much to even think about, start with 10 and see how it goes. If exercising is a drag to you, try something fun like bowling, playing ping-pong, or dancing. The idea is to get moving and have so much fun you'll stick with it.

Using extreme diets. These don't work and can be very detrimental to your health. When you deprive your body of food two things happen: your metabolic rate slows down to make up for few calories and your desire to binge increases. In addition extreme dieting may lead to the bloating of fat cells, shrinking of muscle cells, accumulation of toxic fats and fatigue. Rather than thinking "diet" think lifestyle change.

Mindless munching. Even if it's not on a plate, it still counts. A couple of cheesy crackers before dinner, test-tasting a sauce, finishing food from your kids plates while washing dishes, all adds up to more calories. On average figure 25 calories per bite. Do that 4 times in a day and you've just added 100 extra calories to your waistline without even realizing it.

Going overboard on low fat. It's psychological. You pick a low-fat snack and you justify eating more of it because it IS low fat. Research backs this up. More food, even if it is non- or low-fat still means more calories.

Not taking vitamins and supplements. In a perfect world, we'd get all the nutrition, vitamins and minerals from our three perfectly balanced daily meals. He is Mokhtar Dahari. The most top Malaysian football player at old time. This is the text about him that i have read today.

The current Malaysian football scene is nothing short of rubbish, were sitting something like 160th position in the FIFA world ranking(there are about 190 seeded countries) . The nation would claim that football is our no 1 sport despite the lousy condition of the national team. This is probably because its our most watched sport(English Premier League’s,EURO,World Cups etc) . Take a walk at the streets, you’ll see more Everton shirts than a Malaysian national team shirt(don’t get me started on the Man U’s and Liverpool’s) .What do we watch since we have a team that suffer to beat countries like India which playing the marbles is above football in their favorite sports list.

It never has been always this bad, at one point Malaysia was considered to be a Asian powerhouse. At that time there weren’t any professional players. The players all had full time jobs and played football simply because they loved it and every time they put on the national shirt, it was a matter of pride!!

One of the stars of yesterday was Mokthar Dahari .He made his national debut at the age of 19 and represented Selangor for most of his career where he went on to win the Malaysia cup 10 times.

SuperMokth as he was famously known was part of a powerful Malaysian team which was also represented by goalkeeper R Arumugam, defenders Santokh Singh and Soh Chin Aun, midfielders Reduan Abadullah and Shukor Salleh and Mokhtar’s partner upfront Isa Bakar.

During the 70’s Malaysia team beat Arsenal & England team where he scored a spectacular goal, dribbling it from the middle to score at the other end.

He was blessed with such skills but at the age of 37,Supermokth passed away of muscular dystrophy on 11 July 1991. Tt here have been all sorts of rumors about how he passed on but fact was that he was sick.

Since then Malaysia have never had a team which came close to the passion, drive and hunger to emulate the success of the 70’s national team. We have a bunch of spoil professionals with access to such high tech training methods and programs to ensure they are on top of their game but for some reason, they prefer the nasi lemak and night life.

I hope someday, something happens and our local football take a drastic change for the sake of the nation..I hope i get the opportunity someday to shake the hands of these stars who made us proud!

I do hope that we could produce someone like him someday and we will be proud with our football. Just wish I have a boyfriend now to spend time with.
Peter: I guess we're the only leftovers. We're the only person who isn't with a date now.
(both sigh n silence for a while)
Tina: I think I have a good idea. Lets play a game
Peter: Eh? What game?
Tina: Eem..It's quite simple. You be my boyfriend for 100 days and I'll be your girlfriend for 100 days. what do you think?
Peter: Oookay..Anyway I don't have any plan for the next few months.
Tina: You sound like you aren't looking forward to it at all. Cheer up. Today will be our first day and our first date. Where should we go?
Peter: What about a movie? I heard that there is a really great movie in theater now.
Tina: Seems like I don't have any better idea than this. Lets move. (went to watch their movies and sent each other home)

Day 2:
Peter and Tina went to a concert together, and Peter bought Tina a keychain with a star.

Day 3:
They went shopping together for a friend's birthday present. Share an ice-cream together and hugged each other for the first time.

Day 7:

Peter drove Tina up onto a mountain and they watch the sunset together. When the night came and the moon glowed, they said sat on the grass gazing at the stars together. A meteor passed by. Tina mumbled something.

Day 25:
Spend time at a themepark and got onto roller coasters, and ate hot dogs and cotton candy. Peter and Tina got in the haunted house and Tina grabbed someone's hand instead of Peter's hand by accident. They laughed together
for a while.

Day 67:
They drove pass a circus and decided to get in to watch the show. The midget asked Tina to play a part as his assistant in the magic show. Went around to see other entertainments around after the show. Came to a fortune teller and she just said "Treasure every moment from now on" and a tear rolled down the fortune teller's cheek.

Day 84:
Tina suggested that they go to the beach. The beach wasn't so crowded that day. They have their first kiss with each other just as the sun is setting.

Day 99:
They decided to have a simple day and is deciding to have a walk around the city. They sits down onto a bench.

1:23 pm
Tina: I'm thirsty. Lets rest for a while first.
Peter: Wait here while I go buy some drinks. What would you like?
Tina: Eem...Apple juice will be just fine.

1:43 pm
Tina waiting for about 20 minutes and Peter havent return. Then someone walked up to her.
Stranger: Is your name Tina?
Tina: Yes, and may I help you?
Stranger: Just now down there on the street a drunk driver has crashed into a guy. I think its your friend.
Tina ran over to the spot with the stranger and sees Peter lying on the floor with blood over his face and her apple juice still in his hands. The ambulance came and she went to the hospital with Peter. Tina sat outside the emergency room for five and a half hours. The doctor came out, and he sigh.

11:51 pm
Doctor: I'm sorry, but we did the best we could. He is still breathing now but God would take him away from us very soon. We found this letter inside his pocket.

The doctor hands over the letter to Tina and she goes into the room to see Peter. He look weak but peaceful. Tina read the letter and then she burst into tears. Here is what the letter said.

Tina,
Our 100 days is almost over. I had fun with you during all these days. Although you may be greedy sometimes and less thoughtful, but these all brought happiness into my life. I have realize that you are a really cute girl and blamed myself for never taken the time to knowing that. I have nothing much to ask for, but I just wish that we can extend the day. I want to be your boyfriend forever and wish that you can be beside me all the time. Tina, I love you.

11:58
Tina: (sobbing) Peter. Did you know what was the wish I made on the night there was a meteor. I asked God to let us last forever. We were suppose to last 100 days so Peter! You can't leave me! I LOVE YOU, but can you come back to
me now? I love you Peter. I LOVE YOU.
As the clock struck twelve, Peter's heart stopped beating. It was 100 days

what do you feel??
me myself felt very sad....this is the first love story i have ever read. It is so touching. They deserved to live happy ever after but they does not express their feeling to their lover. And you can see what had happen. The words I LOVE U is very special and it only deserved to someone that we really care of. Many couple nowadays end with divorce. It happen just because the love that unite two people have lost. This cannot be happen. We must always show our love to our beloved one.besuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17283636148488642845noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7520434405510058645.post-61677103269662100472009-03-13T04:02:00.000-07:002009-03-13T04:19:50.209-07:00_AIRPOLLUTION_

CAUSES OF POLLUTION

Many causes of pollution including sewage and fertilizers contain nutrients such as nitrates and phosphates. In excess levels, nutrients over stimulate the growth of aquatic plants and algae. Excessive growth of these types of organisms consequently clogs our waterways, use up dissolved oxygen as they decompose, and block light to deeper waters.
This, in turn, proves very harmful to aquatic organisms as it affects the respiration ability or fish and other invertebrates that reside in water.
Pollution is also caused when silt and other suspended solids, such as soil, washoff plowed fields, construction and logging sites, urban areas, and eroded river banks when it rains. Under natural conditions, lakes, rivers, and other water bodies undergo Eutrophication, an aging process that slowly fills in the water body with sediment and organic matter. When these sediments enter various bodies of water, fish respirationbecomes impaired, plant productivity and water depth become reduced, and aquatic organisms and their environments become suffocated. Pollution in the form of organic
material enters waterways in many different forms as sewage, as leaves and grass clippings, or as runoff from livestock feedlots and pastures. When natural bacteria and protozoan in the water break down this organic material, they begin to use up the oxygen dissolved in the water. Many types of fish and bottom-dwelling animals cannot survive when levels of dissolved oxygen drop below two to five parts per million. When this occurs, it kills aquatic organisms in large numbers which leads to disruptions in the food chain.

This is some of article that i have read today. For your information, our world today has become more hazardous to be live just because a lot of pollution. This is only one of the pollution that happen on our lovely earth. If we does not any action due to this problem, i afraid that our next generation will not be able to feel the beautiful beach and have good swim in the river. Everyone should work together to avoid this.besuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17283636148488642845noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7520434405510058645.post-7624158400950313602009-03-10T01:48:00.000-07:002009-03-10T05:45:16.096-07:00 WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS PICTURE??

Today, i have read essay entitled BEAT or BEATEN. This essay discuss about why student nowadays involved in bully. For your information, BULLY can be describes a form of harassment perpetrated by an abuser who possesses more physical and/or social power and dominance than the victim. We often see this kind of small criminal happen in school.

In my opinion, the way to avoid this thing from happen is all people especially teacher and parents should work together in order to help student who is involved with bully. These student must have their own reason why they willing to put their hand on other student. We should try to listen to them. The factor that why there do this activity is to release their tension. I my self is a student and i know what is the feeling being forced to study and get a good result. Parents should realize the capability of their own son or daughter. Not all people born with brilliant brain. Sometimes, these student is stressed because family problem. WHY? this always happen because parent always argue each other and this make teenagers does not happy being at house. This will affect their feeling and make them to release their tension by beating other student.

This is not a JOKE. There were a student who is die because had been beaten by in about 7 student. It is happen is 2006. Before this people does not care much about this thing, but after that bully has been forbidden in school. So what do you think??

LETS LOOK ABOUT THIS PICTURE

<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" CLASSIC BICYCLE

People from all walks of life know that bicycle nowadays has two version. Classic bicycle and also modern bicycle. But do you know about their similarity and different? Here i would like to share about the compare and contrast in both bicycle.

For the similarity for the both modern and classic bicycle is first of all, the part on it's body. The first part is handle. both bicycle still use handle to help people to ride it. Next is the wheel. Both model still use two wheel. There are two wheel because people will easier to ride it. Beside that, the body of both model still the same. Even though nowadays there are a lot different but the concept still the same. The body will support the load from the rider. Apart from that, the brake also still same for the both model. All bicycle has brake because it is necessary in order to avoid from accident. Beside brake, both model also still use lamp. And its function still same. To help the rider to ride the bike at the night and also to make sure that the other vehicle will see them. Both model also has saddle. Saddle is the place where we sit on it and cycle the bicycle. Without this part, the people will not become comfortable to ride the bicycle. Beside saddle, there also a part called the Fender. We can see that both model still use the fender in order to avoid us from get dirty. Fender is the part that cover the wheel. Both model also have pedal, the part that will support our feet when we cycle the bicycle. This part will help the rider to cycle the bicycle smoothly. Last but not least, every vehicle in this world will have their own key system. That is still the same with the modern bicycle and classic bicycle. Both of the model have key to lock the wheel from being stole by bad people.

For the comparison between both model, i also will share about the part on the bicycle also. The first part of bicycle is the handle. For the classic bicycle, its handle is in curve design while for the modern bicycle its handle is in straight type and also in complex design. For your information, modern bicycle has better design of handle. And its also suitable for all people. The second part of bicycle is the wheel and its body. Both model has two wheel and a body but the material is totally different. For the classic bicycle, the material used is stainless steel material. But for the modern bicycle they used alloy for the wheels and carbon for the body. That's why we could see that classic bicycle is much heavier than modern bicycle. Apart from that, the brake system is also different. Classic bicycle use caliper brake while modern bicycle use disc brake. There are a lot of different between both system. Disc brake is much more easy to use and <span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">

besuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17283636148488642845noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7520434405510058645.post-49152628802287484282009-02-02T03:15:00.000-08:002009-02-12T04:18:39.081-08:00
Things that might not cross over girls' mind about guys... believe it or don't.........
> 1) Guys may be flirting around all day, but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about....
> .
> 2) Guys are more emotional than you think, if they loved you at one point, it'll take them a lot longer then you think to let you go, and it hurts every second that they try.
> .
> 3) Guys go crazy over a girl's smile(:
> .
> 4) A guy who likes you wants to be the only guy you talk to.
> .
> 5) Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what?..uh...nevermind.." would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are thinking.
